Congressman Maxwell Frost Following Signing of Permitless Carry Bill: “Floridians Will Die”
ORLANDO, FL — Today, Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL-10) released a statement following Governor Ron DeSantis’s signing of a permitless carry gun bill which would allow gun owners in Florida to carry a concealed weapon in public.
In a statement, Rep. Frost says:
“Today I think about the victims, survivors, families, and communities that have been destroyed by gun violence – only to have Florida Republicans and Governor Ron DeSantis turn their backs on them.
“Floridians will die as a result of this legislation. Our communities, schools, places of worship, and even grocery stores are once again at risk of becoming war zones if a gun ends up in the wrong hands.
“This isn’t about safety, it’s about making the conscious decision to prioritize a firearm over the life of an innocent Floridian. When will enough be enough?”
