Congressman Maxwell Frost Announces $120,000 Grant to Orlando Executive Airport

ORLANDO — Today, Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL-10) announced a $120,000 grant to the Orlando Executive Airport (OEA) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as part of a federal funding program established under the landmark Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for airport improvement.

The grant will allow OEA to rehabilitate the airport’s apron where airplanes are parked, passengers board and disembark, and planes are refueled and loaded.

“The Orlando Executive Airport acts as a critical catalyst for our business community while bringing hundreds of thousands of visitors to Central Florida yearly,” said Rep. Maxwell Frost. “This grant marks an important investment in the physical infrastructure of the airport while supporting Orlando’s continued tourism and economic growth.”

“This investment will allow the Orlando Executive Airport to continue its role as a vital aviation connector in Central Florida,” said Kevin Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “We are grateful for the funding from our federal partners, which will help with needed enhancements of the airfield.”
