Congressman Maxwell Frost Announces Over $4 Million Returned to Central Floridians and 3,500 Cases Solved Via Office’s Constituent Services
ORLANDO, FL — Today, Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost (D-FL) announced that his office has helped return over $4 million in money owed to constituents of Florida's 10th Congressional District from various federal agencies.
In August, Congressman Frost had previously announced a total of $3 million dollars returned to constituents. And in just 4 months, the Congressman’s office has been able to return an additional million dollars to constituents while closing an additional 500 cases.
"When we talk about returning money to our constituents, this is money that is rightfully owed to them, but because of government red tape, there are delays or errors in disbursements that keep much needed money out of folks' pockets,” said Congressman Maxwell Frost. “But that's where our constituent services team steps in to advocate for our people and ensure folks receive what they are owed from federal agencies like the IRS or Social Security. These returns can sometimes be upwards of tens of thousands of dollars, which can be life-changing for working people.”
"No matter what the next Administration may do to limit government programs— my team and I will be hyper focused on fighting for the people of Central Florida and continuing to support our constituents. We're committed to showing folks that the government can work for people and deliver real results for them."
Constituents needing help with a federal agency can submit a request online at frost.house.gov or call the Congressman's Orlando office at 321-388-9808.
