Florida 2-1-1 is a free information and referral service to locate assistance for a wide range of services, including those related to basic needs, legal services, employment, education, health care, and more. 988 Suicide Prevention & Crisis Lifeline

Hope CommUnity Center strives to empower the community to engage in personal and societal transformation. By partnering with residents and local groups, Hope CommUnity Center addresses social problems such as lack of access to healthcare, and economic injustices. Florida Immigrant Coalition is an effort led by diverse members of the community. Founded in 1998, FLIC has become a growing force in Florida communities, striving to cultivate Florida as a home where everyone can live, love, and labor without fear. Catholic Charities of Central Florida
Catholic Charities of Central Florida is a ministry of the Diocese of Orlando. They provide low-cost legal representation to all individuals regardless of background, race, religion, country of origin, or ability to pay. Identification
IDignity assists U.S. citizens and legal residents in obtaining Florida ID cards and licenses, U.S. birth certificates, Social Security cards, and other documents needed to acquire an ID/license, including the replacement of some citizenship/immigration documents. IDignity relies on government agencies and community support to assist individuals in obtaining essential identification documents. Not only do they empower individuals, but they also cultivate a more inclusive, productive, and secure society.

Equipped with over 10 divisions, the Orange County Clerk of Courts serves as the administrative office for Orange County Courts. They provide the local community with crucial public access to legal records and services, such as Passport services, applications and information for required documents.

List of Pro Bono Legal Service Providers
The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), Office of Policy, Public Resources
Program (PRP) administers the List of Pro Bono Legal Service Providers or the “List." The List is provided to individuals in immigration proceedings and contains information on non-profit organizations and attorneys who have committed to providing at least 50 hours per year of pro bono legal services before the immigration court location where they appear on the List (Find Orlando resources on pages 40-41). The List also contains information on pro bono referral services that refer individuals in immigration court proceedings to pro bono counsel.
The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc.
The Legal Aid Society opened its doors in the early 1960s as a volunteer organization created by attorneys who were members of the Orange County Bar Association. These volunteer attorneys agreed to take referrals in civil and criminal cases for local residents who could not afford an attorney. In 1967, the organization was formally incorporated in Florida as a nonprofit organization under the name “Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc.”

Florida Free Legal Answers is an online service where eligible users can ask civil legal questions and get answers from volunteer attorneys at no cost. Housing Assistance
Housing Connector is a nonprofit that helps connect individuals and families to available housing by working directly with property managers and community partners. They remove barriers that can make it difficult to secure housing – like financial or screening challenges – and streamline the housing search process. Their goal is to expand access to stable housing and help more people find and keep a place to call home.
The Orange County Office of Tenant Services serves as a resource for renters and landlords by providing information on tenant rights, responsibilities, and local housing laws. They offer education, outreach, and referrals to additional support services, helping residents navigate rental challenges and better understand their options. While they do not provide direct financial assistance, they connect tenants to trusted resources across the community.

Rebuilding Together Central Florida provides free home repairs and improvements for homeowners in need, helping ensure that homes are safe, healthy, and accessible. Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida
Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida was formed in 1987 by a group of concerned citizens who noted a growing problem of homelessness in our community. They are a short-term residential shelter focused on housing, emergency services, and diversion. They help families and individuals return to stable, permanent homes as quickly as possible.

Food Assistance
Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a non-profit organization working to end world hunger across Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties.
